Ambassadors Word Diet, 27th August, 2018 - Listen, He's Speaking
Monday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 27th August, 2018) - Listen, He's Speaking
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:20
This is amazing!
Our opening scripture shows us that the seemingly hidden things of God are seen in the physical things. Everything you need to know about God (His power, modes of operations, and nature.) is all around you: as close as your immediate environment.
The knowledge of God isn't just seen in the scriptures alone but in your physical environment. This means that everything that has been created speaks God. God communicates to us through everything around us.
You see, everything in the world was framed by the very words of God. For this reason, the world just has to communicate God to us.
God's Word is seen in every facet of our life and our physical environment. God is always talking through everything around us. It is your responsibility to be sensitive enough to know He's speaking.
Psalms 19:1-4 (MSG) says,
God's glory is on tour in the skies, God--craft on exhibit across the horizon. Madame Day holds classes every morning, Professor Night lectures each evening. Their words aren't heard, their voices aren't recorded, but their silence fills the earth: unspoken truth is spoken everywhere. God makes a huge dome for the sun--a superdome!
This text tells you that even the Day and the Night has something to offer and teach you on a daily basis. If you ever started your day and went through it without hearing anything from God, then you would have failed yourself.
Do not wait for some special vision or supernatural effect before you get to experience God. God has made his basic reality plain enough in physical things. Open your ears; He speaks all around you.
