Ambassadors Word Diet, Saturday 25th August, 2018 - Be Joyful

Pastor David Okoye

Saturday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 25th August, 2018) - Be Joyful

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap [their] hands. Isaiah 55:12

One of the greatest tools a God-child has against the enemy is joy. Satan and his cohorts can never tamper with a Christian that is always joyful. The devil knows this and that is why he would do anything in the world to steal the joy of a God-child.

Joy is a peculiarity of God's presence; it is a fruit of the Spirit.

Everything that God has made available to us can be accessed and gotten through joy. Staying joyful brings you to the platform where God can lead you forth with peace. Through your joy, you are able to receive directions from the Spirit of God and peace to go along with it. A songwriter once said,
The joy that I have, the world didn't give it to me and the world can't take it away.

No matter the circumstance(s) you face through your daily activities, none of it is supposed to steal away your joy. Your joy is your sustenance. When a man loses his joy, he loses his sustenance. He becomes difficult to lead and would also lack the ability to receive instructions from God.

Scripture tells us in Isaiah 12:3,
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

This scripture shows us that joy is your tool to getting all that is packaged in salvation. In the above text, salvation is likened to a well. Just as it is impossible to survive in this world without water, it is also impossible for a God-child to survive in his Christian life without joy.

Joy preserves, nourishes, energizes, rejuvenates, invigorates and refreshes a man. Being joyful does not just affect your spiritual self but your physical self too. Choose to stay joyful always.

DECLARATION
Nothing is ever stealing my joy. No matter the situation, I choose to stay joyful.
