Angry Mourinho demands respect after back-to-back defeats
Jose Mourinho demanded more respect from journalists on Monday night after his Manchester United side suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Tottenham at Old Trafford.
It was Mourinho’s heaviest loss at home in management and United’s second defeat after only three Premier League games this season.
And when challenged about the criticism coming his way, Mourinho dissolved into anger.

“Today the players left the pitch after losing at home and they were applauded because they deserved it.
“So keep trying. Do you know what was the result? Three-nil. Do you know what this means (holding up three fingers)?
“Three-nil but it also means three Premier Leagues and I won more alone than the other 19 managers together. Three for me and two for them.”
After suggesting that those in the media were planning a campaigning against him, Mourinho then left his seat repeating “respect, respect, respect” as he walked out of the presser.
