Robbers dressed in military uniform arrested in Kogi (PHOTOS)
Troops of the Nigerian army have apprehended an armed-robber gang in military uniform in Kogi state.
Police in Kogi paraded the suspects in front of the Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello, at the Government House in Lokoja, the state capital.
The suspects were paraded by the spokesperson for the Command Army Record (CAR) Captain Nick Ejeh,
According to the police, the suspects were arrested along Felele axis in the state.
He added that on sighting the military patrol team, the suspects engaged the soldiers in a gunfight after which they were overpowered and arrested.
Governor Bello, on his part, noted that his administration would continue to ensure that crime was reduced to the barest minimum in the state.
