Rohr inspects Ahmadu Bello Stadium ahead of AFCON showdown

Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr on Wednesday inspected the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, to ascertain its suitability to host the country’s next home game against Libya in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Super Eagles will face Seychelles in Victoria on match-day two on Friday, 7 September, before hosting the Libyans on Match-day three on 10 October.

Rohr inspected the stadium in company of the second vice-president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Shehu Dikko, and the team’s administrator, Dayo Enebi Achor.

After the Libya game, Nigeria will visit to the north Africans three days later, before flying to South Africa for the return leg against the Bafana Bafana on 17 November.
