Victor Moses shock retirement at 27: See how Nigerians, others react
According to some, they expected the Chelsea man to have stayed a little longer with the Super Eagles as German coach, Gernot Rohr is building something great for the future.
Others including Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa wished him well in his future endeavours, describing him as a national hero.

Head coach Gernot Rohr building something really promising ahead of next year’s AFCON. Good mix of youth & experience.
Moses is one of the key senior players.

Victor Moses announcing international retirement is a big blow for the Super eagles of Nigeria. Most players hit their prime at age 27 but that’s his decision and will be respected for all he has done for the Super eagles.

Strange that Victor Moses has decided to retire from international football at 27 with the Nations Cup less than a year away. I'm not a Stan but he's a big player and it's just normal that we want him around. Not sure he's gonna be a big loss tho. Good luck Victor 👍

Strange decision by Victor Moses to retire from international football.There is a lot excitement & promise around this set of Eagles & they could go on to do great thin.But he has a family now & the opportunity cost of those international breaks is family time.We will miss him.
