The Victor Moses announcement is really bad news for Nigeria.
Head coach Gernot Rohr building something really promising ahead of next year’s AFCON. Good mix of youth & experience.
Moses is one of the key senior players.
He’ll only be 31 at the next World Cup.

Victor Moses announcing international retirement is a big blow for the Super eagles of Nigeria. Most players hit their prime at age 27 but that’s his decision and will be respected for all he has done for the Super eagles.
Time for young talents to step up & make us proud.

Wait, there are people unhappy with Victor Moses cos he does not want to play for @NGSuperEagles again?
Y'all that feel this way need psychiatric evaluation. Man has WON the AFCON and played in 2 World Cups. There is a LONG list of your "heroes" who haven't done any of these.

Nigeria doesn't owe Victor Moses anything tbh..
But at the same time retiring from football at 27 doesn't make any sense.

Strange that Victor Moses has decided to retire from international football at 27 with the Nations Cup less than a year away. I'm not a Stan but he's a big player and it's just normal that we want him around. Not sure he's gonna be a big loss tho. Good luck Victor 👍

Strange decision by Victor Moses to retire from international football. There is a lot excitement & promise around this set of Eagles & they could go on to do great thin. But he has a family now & the opportunity cost of those international breaks is family time.We will miss him.
