Sanwo-Olu is a criminal, has gone mad before, can't govern Lagos - Ambode

Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has blasted the only aspirant for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and accused him of being a criminal, and a cured lunatic.

Ambode said this on Sunday why briefing newsmen about Monday’s governorship primaries of the APC in Lagos.

He alleged that Sanwo-Olu was once arrested for spending fake dollars in a club in the U.S.

He also claimed that the ex-commissioner is mentally unstable, claiming that he has a medical record at Gbagada psychiatric hospital.

 “The records are there. The candidate pitched against me is not qualified.” Ambode said.

The Lagos State governor also said that the opposition will easily take out any other candidate apart from him because of lack of credibility.

“We are committed to the outcome of the primaries.” he said
