AMVCA 2018 full list of winners
He wasn’t the only winner of the night as actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde emerged the Best Actress in a drama movie/TV series. Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Bisola Aiyeola also won the Trail Blazer Award.
Folarin Falana, popularly called Falz carted home the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/TV Series category. Falz will now go down in history as the first Nigerian artiste to win two major movie awards.
Falz first bagged the award in 2016 for his role in TV drama series, Jenifa’s Diary. The University of Reading-trained lawyer won the second award for his role in ‘New Money’. He won for the Best Supporting Actor.
Falz is the son of Femi Falana, popular lawyer and human rights activist. Some of the movies he has featured in include ‘Couple of Days’, ’10 Days in Sun City’, ‘Muna’, ‘Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons’.
