Omokri calls for psychiatric tests for politicians due to lies they tell

A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has called for a 'psychiatric tests' to be done for politicians in Nigeria before appointing them, due to the 'desperate' lies they tell.

Mr Omokri said this while reacting to what the Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi had recently said that Nigerians will enjoy uninterrupted power supply if President Muhammadu Buhari is re-elected in 2019.

Omokri described its as a “desperate lie” saying the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) made such promises before it came to power in 2015.

In a tweet, Omokri asked:

Is @ChibuikeAmaechi normal? This is why I insist we should subject people to psychiatric tests before appointing them to high office. @OfficialAPCNg promised uninterrupted power and ₦40 per litre fuel in 2015. And now this new desperate lie.
