Video: Ivory Coast win! Drobga goes absolutely mad

Didier Drogba, like millions of his fellow countrymen and women, was last night glued to the TV for the African Cup of Nations final.

The Chelsea striker, who retired from international football after last summer’s World Cup, was obviously a mixture of emotions as the Ivory Coast and Ghana had to settle the contest via the lottery of a penalty shoot-out.


So Drogba, who had never won this title when representing his country, understandably went mental when goalkeeper Boubacar Barry netted the winning spot-kick to secure a 9-8 success for the Elephants.

The 36-year-old watched the contest with a group of friends, who were just as delighted with the result – but not all.

As you can see, one guest can be seen staring motionless at the screen as Drogba and co go wild.
You can only image he was rooting for the Black Stars…
