hear the name Dido, you can instantly hear her unique and hypnotic singing voice soothing you with lyrics from Thank You or Life For Rent. 

But despite making a comeback in 2013 with a top 5 album Girl Who Got Away and a Greatest Hits album, she has fallen off the radar since being absolutely everywhere between 1999 and 2004.


Her first two albums No Angel (1999) and Life For Rent (2003) are some of the biggest selling in UK chart history, with both being in the top ten most successful UK albums of the 2000s.

Her third album, Safe Trip Home, arrived in 2008 but didn’t take off with nearly as much success as the predecessors.

Believe it or not, Dido, whose birthday is on Christmas Day, is actually now 44. How amazing is she looking!?

Dido is still working on music but having completed her contract with RCA Records, she is now working independently on a fifth album. And, from the most recent pictures available from late 2013, it doesn’t seem like she has aged at all from her 2000s heyday.
