Monday Daily Devotional By Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Diet 11th July, 2016) - Relax And Enjoy Your Meal
“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies…” Psalm 23:5
We often say that if any man would come to realize and know what we know, they will indeed do what we do.
Ever taken out time to analyze our opening text? Firstly, it tells that God “prepares a table in the presence of our enemies”. It invariably shows that God doesn't take into account the enemies you think you have but instead, amidst them, He prepares a meal for you.
This is the truth of the Word of God. The Psalmist must have known this, so it was not a surprise that he declared “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want” Psalm 23:1.
The AMP rendering says “THE LORD is my shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me] I shall not lack". He is your protection. Meaning, that the undertone of your safety and prosperity is the Most High God.
It is also noteworthy for the Godchild, that challenges will always come. As long as you are on the earth, life will at every turn throw things at you but the truth for the Godchild is that embedded in these challenges is your glory.

Your Father, who feeds, guides and shields you has the ability to bless you irrespective of the challenges you face or those around you. Choose to recognize the place of your safety and prosperity.
Never agitate for anything for when the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him. So never be bothered when challenges come at you, instead choose to relax, and enjoy your meal because your victory is sure.
DECLARATION:
I do not trade God's Word and blessings for anything else. I am more than conquerors and I walk in victory always.
