He never spoke to me: Chelsea star hits out at former boss Mourinho
In-form Chelsea star Victor Moses has aimed a dig at the club’s former manager Jose Mourinho for barely speaking to him during his time at Stamford Bridge.
The Nigeria international has been one of this season’s surprise packages after a tremendous start in a new role as wing-back for Antonio Conte’s side.
The Italian tactician’s arrival this summer has kick-started Moses’ Chelsea career, and the 25-year-old admits it is a nice change after a frustrating time under previous boss Mourinho.
The Portuguese, now with Manchester United, sent Moses out on loan for three seasons running, and he admits it is harder to find the same motivation when only playing for a club on a temporary basis.
‘The toughest time was pre-season, when you know that you’ve done well and the manager has never spoken to you,’ Moses said.

‘You’re going there to do your best but sometimes you get injured and coming back into the team is always difficult.
‘I felt a little bit frustrated to be honest when going out on loan but I needed to keep on working hard, keep my head down and play my football.’
