Sunday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 18th FEB. 2018) - The way of righteousness

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh, shall reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting. Galatians 6:7-8

The truth in the above scripture is important for the Child of God. It should be a light to the path of your life's direction as long as you live on the earth. Being trained by the Spirit of God is a process. Never listen to people that tell you once saved, forever saved.

It's not true. Their belief is that because the gifts of the Lord are without repentance, and because we are saved by grace, then our actions and faults and sin do not matter. This message is from the depths of hell.

You see, the devil seeks to keep you bound to the elements of this world even though you are seated with Christ in Heavenly places.

The Word of God definitely tells us,

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1 John 3:9.

The MSG rendering of verses 9 and 10 says,

People conceived and brought into life by God don't make a practice of sin. How could they? God's seed is deep within them, making them who they are. It's not in the nature of the God-begotten to practice and parade sin. Here's how you tell difference between God's children and the devil's children. The one who won't practice righteous ways isn't from God… 

Know that God does not lie, and neither will He put you in an impossible situation.

The reality of the life of God you have is, that whatever the Word of God says about you is the absolute reality of your life. But the devil seeks to rob you of this reality.


And if you let him; he will make a travesty of the life of God in you; your life will be a far cry from the realities of the scriptures. Look closely at our opening text.

It says he the one that plants and sows to gratify his flesh will surely reap corruption; but the one that
sows to THE SPIRIT (not to his spirit) will reap life everlasting.

Sow to the Spirit of God in you today, and see your life express the realities of the Kingdom ofHeaven. You are the proof of the glory and splendour of the Most High and Zion.

Walk in the light of this truth today!

DECLARATION
I know who I am! I am a Son of God without blemish. I am made perfect, and I am walking in the light of it today. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I live above sin. Hallelujah!
