PICTURES: Nigerian politicians, billionaires shut down Oyo State for second leg of wedding of Governor Ajimobi’s son and Gov. Ganduje’s daughter

Eminent personalities in Nigeria on Saturday converged in Oyo State to grace the second leg of the wedding of Idris and Fatima, son and daughter of Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State and his Kano State counterpart, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje.

The wedding reception held at Agodi gardens had in attendance Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo; Wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari; wife of senate president Saraki; former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon; APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; Femi Otedola; Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu and Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale.

Others were the Governors of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu; State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola the State of Osun and his wife, Serifat; Senator Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State; Alhaji Abubakar Bagudu of Jigawa State.

Former governors which included Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala (Oyo), Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola (Osun), Adams Oshiomonle(Edo) were also in attendance.

The event was spiced up by popular comedians Basket mouth and Gbenga Adeyinka.

Recall that President Buhari, Senate President Bukola Saraki, 22 governors, eleven ministers and ten traditional rulers attended the couple’s wedding Fathia last weekend, just 12 days after Boko Haram kidnapped 110 schoolgirls from their school in Yobe State.
