After Wike angrily left PDP convention venue, Atiku quickly visit him

Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers State stormed out of the PDP convention on Sunday after his supported candidate, Tambuwal, at the presidential primaries was unsuccessful as Atiku Abubakar emerged the winner.

Wike was promptly followed out of the venue by many of his supporters.

Shortly after, the presidential flag-bearer of the PDP, ex-vice president, Atiku Abubakar, paid the Rivers state governor a 'Thank You Visit' at the Government House, Port-Harcourt, on Sunday evening.

Wike left the convention venue after congratulating Atiku Abubakar.

The Rivers state governor was one of the major backers of Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, who came second in the presidential primary.

Meanwhile, Wike has declared that all Nigerians irrespective of political affiliation must rise up to sack the most inefficient Federal Government since the country gained independence.

He said though different party leaders supported different aspirants, with the emergence of Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the party's Presidential Candidate, all hands must be on deck for the good of the country.
