When you’re the best player on the planet, you can get away with pretty much anything but dying your hair bleached blond appears to be a stretch too far.

It was Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, that revealed the Barcelona forward’s new look on her Instagram page.

The 29-year-old’s new cut is the latest in a line of footballers who have adopted the blond look, with Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey one of the first to brave the trim.

And, after seeing Messi’s new look, Arsenal fans – rather inevitably – claimed the Argentine was paying tribute to his hero, Ramsey. lol, currently, twitter is on fire!!
